Style?
Readers say my writing has a recognizable vibe: a little dark, a little sharp, and occasionally derailed by a simile that probably should’ve been left in the drafts. Even when I try to write something wholesome, some stray edge always sneaks in like it has a key to the place.

The Dynasty of Ladesequme: This Mabinogion-inspired adventure of a dynasty of unlucky folks.
The Story of Spark: The story of Spark is a fantasy adventure based off of the dreams I recorded when I was too young to understand what I was even writing about. It features a world filled with magic and monsters, and much of the story is written as if it is a dream.
The Stevos Collection of Short Stories: A compilation of short stories featuring characters living in worlds that are in various stages of the universe’s development. Characters question their existence, philosophy, culture, and the tyrannical nature of the creator of their universe, known as Steve. This collection will feature many short stories I have already finished.
About Me
I am Stephen Knudsen,
I’ve been writing since elementary school. I think the earliest inspiration for my writing is my 4th-grade teacher who complimented my awful stories.
So far, most of my completed works are short stories which I will publish in The Stevos. Growing up, I worked on a long series called Thief Kids, and I finally rewrote and published it in 2022. Writing the story as a kid helped me to become a better writer and prepared me for my main course, Jack of East.
Besides writing and teaching, I am interested in video games, especially Super Smash Bros and historical games. I am fascinated with nature and bugs, and I adore all animals except pelicans.
I love creating. My main focus is writing stories, but if resources allow it, I would also like to create or commission musicals, art, and games.
